She called me a Little Soldier, but this soldier has no armour
This soldier stands on battlefields as they take aim and fire
This soldier catches every bullet, stands bare, body riddled
Torn to pieces by enemies disguised as friends
Evil disguised as Mother.
This soldier tries to find shelter but comes up short
They can’t see that she stands in this war zone, already gone
She may stand but what was once within is lost
This soldier is ill equipped, no weapons to fire back
No way to inflict harm, out of the game
Lost every battle, losing the war.
This soldier is immortal
Stands and looks strong
Cannot be destroyed, is already dead inside
You see a shell
And mistake it for a person.
